    AR1

    The ABD Accelerator Robot applies accurate inputs to a vehicle's throttle pedal for closed-loop vehicle speed control, handling behaviour measurement and in-vehicle NVH measurement. It can command ramped or step position inputs to the pedal but is more commonly used to follow a vehicle speed profile, which may be constant speed, steady acceleration or any other profile. The AR may be combined with steering or brake robots and can be used in the Driverless Test System.
