BR1000
BR1000
It uses a compact but powerful DC motor driving a precision ball-screw actuator. Two different mechanical arrangements are available:
On-seat: actuator is located in front of the vehicle's standard seat and held in place with adjustable frame attached to the seat
Under-seat: actuator mounted horizontally on the floor of the vehicle with a racing seat mounted on top.
The BR1000 can apply forces of up to 1,400N and has a maximum apply rate of 800mm/s.
Both versions can be used together with ABD's steering and accelerator robots, and can form part of a Driverless Test System.
