Wheel mounted IMU for accurate slip measurements
Able to capture wheel motion in every axis, the RT-Split is a powerful and reliable measurement system for direct tyre slip angle measurement.
Wheel mounted IMU works in all conditions
Mounting the IMU on the wheel provides a very high slip angle precision of 0.15 at 50km/h. The small, light weight, wheel-mounted sensor is IP65 certified and designed to work in wet or dusty conditions found next to a moving wheel. The RT-Split gives accurate results even on wet, or loose surfaces that can cause optical solutions to give inaccurate results.
Fully integrates with the testing system
The RT-Split includes CAN bus inputs/outputs and ABD robot interface to full integrate with third party devices.
